About Us
Ever had an idea that you liked, and without thinking about it too much, you just jumped into making it a reality straight away? We think that so many good ideas get lost in a phase of overthinking. Thoughts like "can I even build this?" and "where do I start?" and "which state management solution do I use for my App?" (that one goes out to the Flutter-people).
We love the feeling of empowerment we got from realising that we can actually build most of the ideas we had. It allows you to start building right away, or keep brainstorming and come up with even better stuff, without inhibiting yourself. We decided to start why not make it?, as a collective to stand for this sentiment. And to empower more people to have this thought more often.
Who's behind this?
Hi, we're Jesper and Tim – two UX Engineers and User Researchers from Germany. A few years ago, we fell head-first into the Flutter honeypot and were blown away by how fast and flexible it made everything. Since then, we've built and shipped several projects with it and loved every minute of it! At the moment, we work for Volkswagen Future Center Europe. And in our free time, we create and maintain open-source software to make your life better (some of which we write about here in this blog).
